The Tools Basics: Functions of different tools

Wondering if I've given up learning making of jewelry after disappearing for almost 3 months? Of course not! It's just that I have to temporary give up what I wanted to do for something that I need to do. Alright, moving on~ it's high time I should really work on my basic knowledge for jewelry making. After this, promise that I'll get myself a set of the basic tools for some hands-on mini jewelry making projects. Life has been roller-coasting during these few months with extreme stress during exams, relaxation after exams, grumpiness back at work, frustration during work and happiness during joyous events.

I do not complain for the unhappiness created as everyone serves a purpose in life. It's what they have to do and who they are, where no one is ever perfect. It is the mixture of flaws that allows my life to be able to experience the ups-and-downs. Imagine if everyone is perfect and serves the same purpose, our life will be too plain sailing, and bored as time passes by...

We are here to compliment each other, improvise and complete each others life by doing what we are supposed to be. Parents' role is to teach the child, a child is to learn and the government is to set laws for the citizens and eventually; function as a guide for the parents to teach the child on what is correct/wrong.
Just as people, jewelry making involves various kind of tools that are needed to come together in a project, to make the right piece of jewelry for the perfect someone.

Let's get started with the functions of some of the basic tools:

    round nose
Round Nose pliers: Close loops, hold small jewelry and close jumpings.

    chain nose
    Chain Nose
pliers: Gripping and reaching into tight places, used to open/close jumprings, bend wire or as that extra set of fingers.

    flat nose
Flat Nose pliers: For sharp bends, flattening wire/metal and flat surface will hold jewelry component without marring.

    Bent nose
Bent Chain Nose pliers: Do everything chain nose pliers do but have a bent tip. that allows you to hold or reach into those more difficult angles.

    End cutter
End Cutting pliers: Use for cutting wires - cuts flush

    bearder's tool kit
Beader's Tool kit: Round-nose, bent-tip, needle-nose and flat-nose pliers, side and end cutters. An awl, tweezers, millimeter gauge and ruler complete the kit, all secured in a black vinyl case.

Just as the complex relationships, these are only the first level of tools required to compliment the whole process.
